Walking into the pub, Patrick said to the bartender, "Pour me a stiff one, Sean. Would ya know I just had another tiff with the little woman. Quite a row it was!"
"Oh yeah," said Sean, pouring the poor man three fingers of the best Irish Whiskey in the house. "And how did this one end, Patrick me boy?"
"Well I'll tell ya now Sean," Patrick replied, downing the entire glass in one swallow. "When it was over herself came to me on her hands and knees, she did."
"You don't say?" Sean wondered, filling up the glass again. "Now that's a switch! What did she say?"
"She said, Come out from under that bed, you gutless weasel, before I hurt you bad! So I had no choice Sean, but to come down here to the pub! Fill me glass up again, if you'd be so kind!"
Just so you know, that is not the challenge. Just a good Irish joke for St Patricks Day. Instead, for the challenge this week, we are going to Ireland the Green! Yes, Ireland, where you can draw anything Irish you want but with this stipulation! The entire Object has to be Green! Except for the white background, you cannot use any other color. There can be no black (such as Paint on Edges!). You may use any shade of green from light to dark! You may use anything from your easy pallette as long as it is entirely green! Green plastic, green glass, green weaves! All highlights (and lowlights, have to be green!). No black! No brown, No way!
Now, the easy way out of this is just to make a shamrock. All green and no muss, no fuss, so you can't make a shamrock as your object. You have to find something else Irish and give it the green!
And in closing.....
Like the warmth of the sun
And the light of the day,
May the green luck of the Irish
shine bright on your way.
Happy St Patricks Day!
