In August of 1930 there debuted one of the most popular radio shows ever in history. "Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men? The Shadow knows!" This phrase, followed by a peal of mirthless laughter, (usually signaling the doom of some unsuspecting evil doer) was the slogan of the Shadow. The mysterious crime fighter in black feared by criminals all over the world. The opening lines of the program captivated listeners and are instantly recognizable even today. A figure never seen, only heard, the Shadow was an invincible crime fighter.
Like all “super heroes” he had a secret identity. To some it was Lamont Cranston but in reality, he was Kent Allard, a WW II fighter pilot who, besides his tremendous strength, possessed some rather unique abilities, which enabled him to overcome any enemy. Trained as a master in the Martial arts, the Shadow could see in the dark, he could defy gravity, speak any language, unravel any code, and become invisible with his famous ability to "cloud men's minds."
This week, we are going to use that last ability as our challenge. We are going to use the ability to cloud men’s (and women’s) minds.
You are to make an object. ANYTHING YOU WANT. I’ll repeat! ANYTHING YOU WANT!
Once you have made the object and saved it as a UFO, use PI’s ability to give it a shadow. You may use any of the “Shadow Functions” you would like. You may tilt it, make it go left or right, offset it or whatever you want to do to it. Then “Split the Shadow” and delete the original object! (Don’t worry; you still have it saved as a UFO!)
Save the “Shadow” under another name and post it here! Then, it is up to us to guess what it is!
Haaaaaahaaaaaaaaa!! Only the Shadow knows!!!!!
Please watch your thread and reply to the guesses, letting us know if we are wrong or right! Once we guess correctly, post your object along with it's shadow! Ahhhh what evil lurks in the hearts of Photo Impact Junkies!
